Just spent a beautiful weekend in Lexington, VA with all of my best friends watching our girl get married. Definitely the most perfect location and bride I have ever witnessed. Congrats Lo + Vlad, I love you both! Pic stolen from Mrs. Guthrie’s facebook.
my best friend got married yesterday, and it was perfect. some highlights:
- lexington & the mountains was a gorgeous backdrop
- the venue nursed a baby dear named flower back to health, and she was completely tame, came and hung out with us
- the ceremony went off without a hitch
- i made my speech without stuttering or blushing (both huge successes)
- i got to dance with my best friends & parents to motown and euro-dance tunes.
- we drove down the mountain without killing ourselves.
- we partied at hojo’s till the late night hours
- my dad took a bourbon shot with the bride & groom.
